Goes well on this ground and has run some good races in defeat from this mark. Should strip fitter for a recent AW run and if so, he has a serious chance..

Usually deployed as a front-runner and fairly consistent over hurdles but has struggled over fences. Won chase debut well at Kelso and all four runs since have been on very heavy ground. Is now 8lb below that Kelso win and these conditions will suit much better
94 | 31/03/2018 | 16:25 | Haydock | EW | Bryden Boy | 26 | 23 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -171.38 |
Returned to form when finishing 7L second to Red Rising at Wetherby (3m, heavy) early last month and represents a stable with a 38% strike-rate (3/8) in recent weeks. 1lb below last winning mark and is 10lb better off with Red Rising for that beating last time.
93 | 31/03/2018 | 15:50 | Haydock | EW | Castafiore | 13 | 10 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -165.38 |
The style in which he won at Uttoxeter was very taking and went up 10lbs for that win. Back down 2lbs after a more than satisfactory tilt in Sandown Grade 3. These are calmer waters and extra 3f should be no issue.
92 | 31/03/2018 | 15:35 | Musselburgh | EW | Clever Cookie | 17 | 15 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -159.38 |
Stable stalwart who just falls short of top class. Has a superb record when fresh, 112126 are his placings after a break of 100+ days. Best on soft ground and not had these conditions in a handicap since 2014 when successful at York. Raced mainly in Class 1's which cannot be said of any of today's rivals.
91 | 31/03/2018 | 15:25 | Carlisle | EW | Un Guet Apens | 13 | 17 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -153.38 |
C&D winner in November and went in again at Kelso in January. Forgiven last time out effort at this track over 3m+ on very testing ground and this tip suits better.
90 | 31/03/2018 | 15:15 | Haydock | EW | Abracadabra Sivola | 11 | 13 | 3 | 4th | -6.00 | -147.38 |
Made all under top weight at Kempton last time out and the way he jumped the last left the impression he had something in hand. Up in class but gets a feather weight today and handicap mark is very generous considering best form.
-- | 30/03/2018 | 16:35 | Bath | EW | Jack Bear | 17 | 3 | NR | 0.00 | -141.38
Not been in the best of form recently however he has always been better on turf, particularly soft turf. Gets the services of SDS and looks way overpriced in this field.
89 | 30/03/2018 | 15:05 | Lingfield | EW | Double Up | 21 | 26 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -141.38 |
Has been racing keenly in his races so blinkers could be the solution. Tongue tie came off in the stalls last time (when backed) and was never close enough to challenge. Better than his odds suggest.
88 | 30/03/2018 | 13:40 | Newcastle | EW | Lord Of The Glen | 19 | 6.5 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -135.38 |
Best form in 3yo handicaps however gets 15lbs here against older rivals (inc. Excellent jockeys claim). Tough task but 3 C&D wins this season show he could easily be up to the task.

Hints the last twice that his turn may not be far away. Down another 1lb after making the running here last time (1m) and finishing 4th of seven. Drops in to class 6 company and Joshua Bryan ( two wins on him) back on board.
85 | 29/03/2018 | 15:40 | Wetherby | EW | Forty Crown | 34 | 67 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -123.38 |
Scored over C&D in 2013 (soft) from 1lb higher. Form has dipped in the main this season but has a great chance if he could reproduce his Kelso effort from November from this 3lb lower mark.
84 | 29/03/2018 | 14:45 | Towcester | EW | Magical Man | 13 | 10 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -117.38 |
C&D winner who beat a subsequent dual winner at Ffos Las in November. Has never been consistent and his two poor runs since off his revised mark were predictable. Looks better treated here in less exalted company and he is due another good run.

Finished off last season in good form and stable has returned this season flying. Likely to be in good health and has a great draw for one that likes to be prominent. Overpriced.
80 | 27/03/2018 | 16:30 | Southwell | EW | Medici Moon | 17 | 29 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -117.00 |
Dual Fibresand winner towards the end of last year but he was in much better form then and his last two runs have been below par. Fared poorly over C&D last time but that was after a break of 3 months. Very closely matched with Red Touch and those two coild fight it out.
79 | 27/03/2018 | 16:15 | Hereford | EW | Royal Claret | 21 | 15 | 3 | W | 72.00 | -111.00 |
Definite signs of promise in bumpers and novice hurdles but very disappointing on handicap debut at Fontwell, pulling up. Upped in trip here (may suit on pedigree) and too soon to give up on her. Market support would be a big positive.
78 | 27/03/2018 | 16:00 | Southwell | EW | Philba | 17 | 13 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -183.00 |
Quite a capable sort on this surface and he looked to need the run after a long break here last time. Dropped 2lb for that run and the champion jockey takes over today. Just 1lb above his last winning mark and is ahead of this field on RPRs over this CD. Way overpriced.
77 | 26/03/2018 | 17:20 | Market Rasen | EW | Rippling Waters | 10 | 7.5 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -177.00 |

72 | 25/03/2018 | 14:25 | Doncaster | EW | Boots And Spurs | 23 | 21 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -173.40 |
C&D winner, fit from a recent start on the AW and these are his conditions. A tad high in the weights but the very capable Paddy Piley takes off 3lb which will help and has place claims at least.

In and out performer, but very much on song around this time in 2017, winning a 21-runner 7f course handicap by just over 1L from Invermere (made all). Placed at Southwell latest (runner up run well since), Slight stamina doubt but good chance if he stays.
69 | 24/03/2018 | 16:55 | Lingfield | EW | Dolphin Village | 13 | 10 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -155.40 |
Generally out of sorts recently (no win since July 2016), and hasn't been able to take advantage of a sinking handicap mark but is now 20lb lower than last winning mark and will come good at some point. Has been backed overnight.
68 | 24/03/2018 | 15:35 | Doncaster | EW | Gabrial | 34 | 21 | 3 | 4th | 20.20 R4 | -149.40 |
Won this race back in 2015. Has often run well in Group company and he's on a fair mark. Jamie Spencer seems to get the best out of him and is 6lb better off for 2 1/2L with the favourite on Ascot running last year on Soft.

Veteran campaigner with five C&D wins. Ran well from out of the handicap on penultimate start and poor draw did not help last time. William Carson who has won on him 3 times, is well drawn and 10lb below last winning mark
64 | 23/03/2018 | 14:40 | Lingfield | EW | Mossgo | 11 | 17 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -151.60 |

63 | 22/03/2018 | 17:15 | Ludlow | EW | Bertimont | 13 | 13 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -145.60 |
CVome back run was surely needed and much better expected now with career low handicap mark and conditions to suit perfectly.
62 | 22/03/2018 | 16:25 | Wolverhampton | EW | Outlaw Torn | 11 | 11 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -139.60 |
This is a weak race for the grade and there looks to be no obvious pace on, which will be useful for Outlaw Torn who loves to get on with things and is drawn 2. Obvious chance and overpriced.

Formerly with Gigginstown and Gordon Elliott and won last start for those connections over hurdles. Having second run over fences and is open to bags of improvement as a 7yo. Handled softer ground over hurdles and should run well with Sean Bowen booked.
60 | 21/03/2018 | 16:30 | Chepstow | EW | Join The Navy | 41 | 34 | 1 | L | -2.00 | -127.60 |
The deeper the ground the better for this veteran. Well-enough handicapped, but he was never travelling well at any stage on his reappearance but that was after a big break and if that run has blown away the cobwebs then has an outside chance of last winning mark under ideal conditions.
59 | 21/03/2018 | 16:30 | Chepstow | EW | No No Mac | 13 | 26 | 2 | L | -4.00 | -125.60 |
Better class than this at his peak and current mark is 10lb below that which brought his last success over fences a year ago. Trip and conditions are fine, but he needs to bounce back from some poor runs this term which isn't impossible for local trainer.
58 | 21/03/2018 | 15:05 | Southwell | EW | Siege Of Boston | 12 | 15 | 3 | 4th | -6.00 | -121.60 |

Beat Krackatoa King on heavy ground over this trip as a novice and was once rated 125. Has declined since but appeared to have found his level last time when ahead of Filatore. Did well to finish so close after a dreadful error and big chance in this.
56 | 20/03/2018 | 17:35 | Newcastle | EW | Suegioo | 17 | 29 | 3 | 4th | -6.00 | -109.60 |
Has become very frustrating to follow as tries to do all his work too late. Saying this, his recent performances have been at Wolverhampton which would not have played totally to Suegioo's strengths. Looks sure to be a good pace here and a long straight for Suegioo to get his best work done in.
55 | 20/03/2018 | 17:25 | Clonmel | EW | Betterthanalright | 13 | 15 | 3 | W | 50.40 | -103.60 |
Course form is important here and Betterthanalright is one of only 3 course winners. Acts on heavy and stays further than this so has a great chance. Has also ran well enough after a break in the past to suggest he will be race fit, and is running off career low mark.
54 | 19/03/2018 | 17:25 | Lingfield | EW | Threediamondrings | 17 | 8 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -154.00 |
Lost all chance at the start last time, not for the first time, but had shaped better than his final finishing position on his previous start over 2f further here. Has continued to edge down the weights and if first time cheekpieces help has a decent chance on lots of bits of form at an each way price.

Winner at Wetherby earlier in the season and finishing with plenty running left in tactical Newbury affair in December when last spotted. Champion jockey back on board and this race will surely be run to suit.

Improved to win at Huntingdon on soft ground. Looked like further improvement was likely especially with give underfoot and the handicapper has been fair for debut. Stable in cracking form and James Bowen booked. Lots to like.

Has been sent off big prices but outruns his odds every now and then, and has run well enough here on his last two starts to think he could take a hand on his handicap debut here today. Ground fine and a bold showing to come.

Popular veteran last seen winning for trainer Henry Candy in October 2015. Not disgraced on comeback run and AW debut here over 6f and can be expected to perform better over winning trip. Form of his 2nd over a mile at the Curragh last August off 10lb higher would be good enough.

Fairly reliable on the whole during her career. Made a modest return to action at Lingfield last month after 4 months off but dropped 5lb and down to class 6 now. Overpriced

Good on his day and versatile as regards the ground, but needs to bounce back off the same mark after being pulled up at Wincanton last time. The ground that day however was atrocious and this consistent gelding should run his race at a great price.
19 | 08/03/2018 | 18:45 | Newcastle | EW | Daze Out | 11 | 15 | 3 | L | -6.00 | -5.00 |
Didn't really improve on handicap debut despite strong market support. Best novice run was over C&D and looks well suited by this straight 6f. Form of that Newcastle run has worked out well with 2nd, 3rd and 6th all winning since. Expect support and a good run.
18 | 08/03/2018 | 14:10 | Wincanton | EW | Kayf Tiger | 26 | 17 | 3 | 3rd | 12.00 | 1.00 |
Huge absence to overcome, however, shrewd stable more than capable of getting Kayf Tiger fit on reappearance. Handicap mark is as low as possible in a really poor race. The fact that he has remained in training at 9yo after such a long break shows he has ability and on breeding should relish this ground.

Won by 1 1/2 lengths 3 starts ago. That race was the last time William Cox took the ride and today is the return to C&D. Beautifully bred 3yo and looks capable of further improvement. This race is one grade lower than his last win

Three career wins have come at 7f to 1m. Tends to race freely though up front so first drop back to this trip may not be a bad move. Just 1lb higher than last win and if he can get a decent lead under good 5lb claimer may be tough to peg back at a great price.

Won a point-to-point on soft ground last year and produced his best effort under rules when third over C&D last time on his chase debut. Switches back to hurdles for handicap debut from a workable mark and this test should suit.

Trip and ground both ideal, and is back on a winning mark, so has those things going for him, but not seen out since last March and yard have had a quiet season by their own standards. However this one has run well when fresh before and has place claims at the very least in this.
14 | 06/03/2018 | 16:50 | Southwell | EW | Eyes of Fire | 11 | 6 | 3 | L | -6.00 | 7.00 |
Step up in trip looks to be a positive move on breeding. Eyes of Fire is the only 3yo in this field meaning a 16lb weight allowance. He didn't get this on handicap debut and still ran respectably. Has a good chance at a big price.

Had a great season last year and returns on the AW where he has a 13lbs lower . Has 2 C&D wins to his name, both off higher marks and gets Luke Morris today. Has ran well many times after a break. Overpriced.

Beat Lean on Pete back in August by 4 1/2 lengths and is 2lbs better off with that rival today. Although recent runs have not been great, return to this C&D will help and this race looks poorer with the Even money favourite only taking a seller and a class 7 handicap from his 13 runs under rules.

From a yard that can do well with recruits from other stables she might be worth chancing having gone well enough on her stable debut. She wasn't quite up to that form last time (pulled-up) but may be able to do better off a basement mark at a price.

Well down the handicap this winter and is clearly better than his current mark. Take off an extra 7lbs for the excellent Jason Watson's claim. Return of blinkers will help and to this C&D will too.

AW Flat winner in France who also landed claimer over hurdles before an abject effort on his UK debut at Fakeneham in December. Subsequent wind surgery suggests an underlying issue that day, the booking of Adam Kirby for this shrewd stable (33% strike rate this year) is very encouraging

Largely consistent and in the first 2 on 4 of his last 6 runs off similar marks. Stable in pretty good form. Needs to break a little better and have a good pace to aim at, but if he is close enough on the turn in, could make his presence known at the line.
